This past week, I embarked on the Korean language segment of my project as I tried to create flashcards with Korean words and phrases.

Week 6: Daybreak
As promised during last week’s blog update, I would work on my moves so on the Sunday before the dance class for this week, Jun and I arranged our own dance practice session.
Week 5: Overcome
For this week, I attended the second lesson of X1’s “Flash” dance class at Studio De S. More of the choreography was taught and things are getting a lot more challenging but as mentioned in the previous project update, I am prepared to work hard to master the choreography. To reflect this determination and remind myself to remain motivated till the end, this week’s blog post is titled, “Overcome”, after the name of the title track for NU’EST’s fourth mini album.
Week 4: Action
This week’s blog post is titled “Action”, which is the name of NU’EST’s first mini-album and I thought this title was suitable because of multiple reasons.
Week 3: Real love, true love
For this week, my blog post will basically be me reporting on my preparation for NU’EST’s concert in Kuala Lumpur (KL) and a blow-by-blow account of the events on the concert day. It was really a crazy day filled with exciting memories so please be warned that there will be extreme fangirling language ahead.
Week 2: You got my bet
The title for Week 2’s project update is “You got my bet”. Like I mentioned in my very first project update, I will be attempting to name each of these updates with something that is NU’EST-related. The reason for this week’s title is actually pretty simple. I decided to use a line from NU’EST’s song, BET BET, because for this week’s task, I am doing an analysis on its music video.
Week 1: I’m turning back to you
Inspired by Dr. Liew Kai Khiun’s “Recent Memories: Reminiscing the Korean Wave in Singapore”, I decided that before I embark on the second individual assignment I would like to plot my own Personal Hallyu Memories Timeline.
